An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Immigration Solicitor for a highly regarded multi-service firm. This is a growing practice that that is very well respected for the varied work they undertake. If you have an accomplished background within UK immigration and strong commercial attributes this role can offer an excellent new challenge.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Manage a varied caseload covering immigration and asylum as well as judicial reviews
- Act as main point of contact client regarding all immigration queries, providing guidance on completion of documents
- Prepare cases and represent clients at immigration tribunals
- Attend training events to keep up to date with immigration/asylum legislation changes
- Draft a range of documents including but not limited to witness statements, representation, skeleton arguments, etc
- Liaise with immigration authorities as required
Skills:
- Clear understanding and application of UK immigration and asylum law
- Ability to manage a busy workload and excellent organisation skills
- Strong communicator, confidence in leading client facing meetings
- Attention to detail
- Collaborative team member with ability to build relationships both internally and externally
You:
You will be a qualified Solicitor with strong experience in advising on immigration and asylum. Proven track record on delivering best practice advice within immigration and asylum legislation is also key.
