Job Description

Accuflex has a great opportunity for a Solicitor (NQ up to 5 years PQE) with experience in commercial contract drafting and remediation to join our client, a top financial services client in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic in-house legal team, contributing significantly to projects related to the new EBA guidelines and regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Review: Review a range of commercial contracts for compliance with EBA outsourcing guidelines,regulation and new legislation.
  2. Draft and Negotiate: Draft and negotiate new agreements based on client playbook to meet stakeholder requirements.
  3. Research and Review: Stay informed about regulatory changes to provide advice and support to business units.
  4. Risk Management: Identify, control, and report on significant legal and commercial risks.
  5. Project Involvement: Play a key role in internal projects, offering legal guidance to meet project goals.

Required Experience:

  1. Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
  2. Experience in drafting commercial contracts, especially outsourcing and procurement agreements.
  3. Proven track record of identifying and managing contractual and legal risks.
  4. Understanding of commercial contract and procurement processes.
  5. Strong knowledge of EBA Guidelines and UK contract law.

Location: London with hybrid working offered.
