Job Title – Solicitor
Location - Gateshead
Contracted Hours – 30 hrs per week (4 days)
Salary – up to £70k
This is a full time, permanent office-based position
Our client are a large-scale organisation, with over 270 venues nationwide. Their core business being adult gaming centres, including slot machines and tanning salons, with family friendly entertainment centres located at coastal areas across the UK.
As an ever-expanding business, our client pride themselves in offering outstanding services for both customers and business partners, as they are also a leading provider of arcade and slot entertainment services.
Role Overview
As a Solicitor in our clients small, busy, established team, reporting directly to the Group General Counsel, you will deal with a wide range of matters that face a large, market-leading, national business at a time of exciting expansion. In particular, you will provide quality and timely advice on commercial and regulatory matters, but variety is never lacking.
Applications are invited from Solicitors with 3-5 PQE who can demonstrate experience of working without supervision, and an appetite to undertake broader in-house legal work, which might encompass IP, Data Protection, Regulatory, as well as ad-hoc legal queries from the business.
Working closely with other departments and with field operations, the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues is essential. Equally as our client operates in a highly regulated sector the same abilities apply to building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.
