Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
- Apply various types of industrial paints, coatings, and finishes to equipment, structures, and components, following project specifications.
- Operate painting equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers, to achieve desired coating thickness and uniformity.
- Mix and match paint colours and materials to meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Inspect finished work for quality, making any necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to minimize exposure to hazardous materials and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
