Locke & McCloud are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead a team of Information Security Analysts and support a Head of Information Security at a global law firm.
The successful individual will work closely closely with multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure appropriate controls, policies and procedures are in place to safeguard the information of the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated security professional who enjoys a combination of information security strategy and people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Head of Information Security to design and implement information security policies, standards, and documentation.
- Deputising for the Head of Information Security.
- Ensure appropriate measures are taken to safeguard the firm's information and reduce security incidents.
- Overseeing and promoting cyber security awareness across all offices, departments, and teams.
- Managing cross-functional initiatives to achieve risk management objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Delivering presentations and engaging with senior leadership across all global offices.
- Ensuring key programs meet business objectives and driving program success through risk mitigation.
- Manage cyber incidents in conjunction with internal teams and our 3rd party services.
- Develop appropriate document repositories, policy documents, operational schedules and processes.
- Manage all security certifications to ensure compliance to applicable standards and regulations.
About you:
- Strong knowledge and experience in information security risk management.
- Ability to respond efficiently to requests, excellent time management and work well under pressure.
- Able to lead a team and demonstrate gravitas when leading and implementing information security initiatives.
- Good technical background.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
