The purpose of this role is help manage the business through a period of significant development and change by undertaking project management responsibility and ensuring that the project work is delivered on time and within budget. To ensure that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed of the progress of all relevant projects and any risks, issues or changes are managed through the correct proces

ses.To manage both IT and business projects with the Bank in a controlled manner following the Bank’s project management methodol


ogy.

  • ojectsPlan and implement projects using a defined project methodology, managing resources to deliver business initiatives with appropriate and risk and issue manag
  • ement.Ensure effective project communication to project participants, stakeholders and wider
  • Bank.Articulate business requirement definitions that meet the customer and business needs and translate efficiently into customer orientated systems, products and se
  • rvicesWork with Project sponsors and business owners to ensure detailed user requirements documentation, project controls and disciplines are in place to deliver within budget and o
  • n timeWork with project team, users and vendors on development and implementation of new/upgraded applications, branch and product ro
  • llout.Ensure all completed projects are handed over to the business with the correct suite of procedures and handover documents so that business as normal service can continue once the project is comp
  • leted.Ensure that all projects are reviewed on completion for lessons learned and that a benefits analysis also occurs within 6 months of a project compl
  • etion.Manage the Steering Committee or any other relevant project committees by supporting the chairman and ensuring that all actions and documentation are completed as n
  • eeded.Ensure that the correct procedure is followed for risk reporting, issues resolution and the authorisation of change req


uests.

  • SupportHelp business users and IT operations with the resolution of issues including liaising with vendors where ne
