Azure Cloud Engineer
Role: Azure Cloud Engineer
Salary: £65K + Bonus
Location: Remote (UK based essential)
Working in a fast paced environment with multiple ongoing projects, your initial focus will be to spearhead the migration from an established on-prem infrastructure to a full cloud based solution in Azure. This particular project is roughly 50% complete. For the next chapter, think Azure Networking, Scale Sets, Backup, Recovery etc. You will be joining an existing infrastructure team, ideally taking the reigns when it comes to Azure subject matters. Projects including a new platform implementation, re-build of network infrastructure, Azure disaster recovery etc. As the environment matures, IaC will likely become more prominent so a Devops mindset is a necessity. Although Azure is the primary focus, it is key you have a solid grasp on traditional/on-prem infrastructure - networking, Hyper-V etc. My client are a huge advocate for training and work closely alongside Microsoft. AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500 are all desired but can also be supported once on-site. There is an office in West London but the team all work remotely across the UK. Although there is no need to visit the office, its key you are based permanently in the UK. *No sponsorship is available for this role unfortunately*
