Role:Infrastructure Engineer
Location: UK (Remote-first with monthly travel to London required)

RegBrain allows customers to apply CUBE's AI models directly to their own content, enabling faster release and feedback cycles. Our flagship AI services will be included, spanning structural detection, classification, entity extraction, summarisation, and recommendations. Available to customers and partners as APIs and via a UI.
Role mission:
Reporting to the Cloud Infrastructure Manager and as a member of the fast-paced Infrastructure team, broad responsibilities include the implementation and operation of all production and non-production environments. This includes Public (Azure/GCP/AWS) and Private cloud infrastructure and supporting technologies.
Bringing 3-5 years of relevant experience to this role,you can expect to be involved with migrating and maintaining cloud-based solutions in an environment that has a strong focus on reliability, security and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Work within the Infrastructure Operations global team to deliver a global follow-the-sun 2/3rd tier support service
- Day to day operations and maintenance of both public and private cloud environments (VMWare, Azure, GCP)
- Delivery of robust, scalable, secure, efficient and HA infrastructure services to meet business requirements.
- Support and maintenance of Infrastructure within internally hosted platforms and other cloud hosted services, supporting CUBE services (VMWare, Linux, Windows, SQL, AD etc)
- Diagnose complex system problems using dumps, traces, or other diagnostics aids.
- Ensuring Logging, monitoring and alerting is complaint with policy and meets service owner’s need.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of infrastructure security
- Raising, designing, and implementing recommendations for improvements to internal/public cloud environments
- Participate in development, testing, and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintaining and refining solution designs and documentation.
- Manage and lead the delivery of technical projects, documentation and best practices to support the ongoing growth of the platform and business.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with enterprise infrastructure/data centre/cloud technology, including demonstrable project delivery experience
- Experience working within a team of technical resources completing operations, maintenance and project delivery under change control
- Web hosting experience in an service Provider or Large enterprise environment (Microsoft IIS)
- Experience of general infrastructure in medium/large scale enterprise environments
- Demonstrable knowledge of VMWARE and public cloud (Azure/GCP)
- Proven knowledge of Linux and Windows server operating systems, patching and malware solutions
- Knowledge of scripting and automation technologies and platforms
- Knowledge of Storage area network and Backup technologies (including Veeam)..
- Deliver on documented OLA’s for the Services provided
- Management and maintenance of Active Directory and O365 Security
- Strong Virtual Networking, VMware, Virtual Machine Administration, vCenter Administration
- Good understanding of Physical Network Topologies, Routing, vLAN’s, Firewalling
Desirable:
- Experience supporting and managing Elastic Search
- Experience working and delivering in a software development based organization
- Working knowledge of O365 Security Administration – Azure AD, Intune, Purview, Defender etc
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
