As an Infrastructure Software Engineer at Unique X, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability of our infrastructure. You will diagnose and resolve the root causes of issues, streamline new deployments and configurations, and actively participate in new software and infrastructure projects.



Duties and Responsibilities:


Do not expect to be a screw in a big machine! We're seeking an Infrastructure Software Specialist who goes beyond the surface, delving deeper into challenges and seizing responsibility with passion. Join us and:

  • Develop and maintain our infrastructure through software and configuration management tools.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to foster their growth.
  • Identify areas where software development and automation can enhance our operations.
  • Lead the modernization and migration of legacy infrastructure.
  • Create monitoring tools to detect and predict potential issues proactively.
  • Continuously monitor the network and implement solutions as needed.
  • Provide expert support to customers and collaborate with other departments to prevent recurring incidents.
  • Actively participate in deployments, both on-site and remotely.



Essential Skills:

  • Experience in a similar position for more than 3 years.
  • Proficiency in software development with Java and Python is required.
  • Strong Linux configuration and management skills are required.
  • Extensive knowledge of networking technologies, including switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Experience with orchestration, automation, and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  • Ability to translate seamlessly between business and IT, envision connections, and think in terms of efficient processes.
