One of the UK's highest profile charities, they provide support for thousands of people across the country and fund life-changing research that benefits us all.
About the Role
They are looking for an Innovation Lead to sit in a senior role within the innovation and product development team. The role will require a mixture of innovation strategy experience and the practical skills to get innovation projects out the door. The role will report into the Head of Innovation and will play a large part in fund-raising and revenue generation that drives the charities life-changing activities.
The role is an 8 month FTC maternity cover with a pressing start date.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and working on innovation and product development projects to drive the charity's revenue stream. This includes collaborating with the research and insights team and leading innovation sprints.
- Delivering innovation projects on-budget and on-time; the team's currently very strategic and needs someone who can effectively execute projects.
- Leading a small team and mentoring the junior members of the wider innovation team.
- Collaborating closely with the marketing team, with a dotted line into the Marketing Director.
- Acting as a cheerleader for the innovation function to the wider business.
About your Background
- A strong background in innovation or research & insights, preferably in the charity sector.
- Strong strategy skills but also a proven ability to effectively deliver projects to their conclusion.
- Comfortable with agile working methods.
- Able to travel to the London office for a hybrid working system.
