Salary:up to £48K dependent on experience + bonus + benefits
Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to become a key member of a growing team dedicated to the production, preparation and delivery of training material for the Mission Planning and Target Modelling products we provide to our domestic and export customers.
Training material and training courses will be designed, produced, reviewed and delivered, to the end users at the MBDA training facility at Filton, or at MOD facilities.
The Mission Planning and Target Modelling applications are advanced software products used frequently by our customers; you will be primarily conducting instructional design and delivery for these Mission Planning products to support a variety of customers.
What will you be doing?
This challenging and rewarding role will provide you with the opportunity to design, develop and deliver innovative training to our valued customers. You will gain an in-depth technical understanding of the Mission Planning products within MBDA, to ensure you can provide the high level of training and support expected by our customers.
Additionally the role holder will have the opportunity to work closely with our software teams and systems engineers, to assist with answering customer queries regarding Mission Planning and Target Modelling products.
The hands-on nature of this role means that the successful candidate will need to spend a significant proportion of their time using the products at our Filton site. However, our teams enjoy the flexibility of Dynamic Working, where appropriate.
Who and what we are looking for from you?
The successful candidate should have some experience in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with an awareness of Joint Service Publication (JSP) 822 and the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
Experience of working with military customers for domestic and export target audiences is desirable.
An Instructor Qualification, defence or civilian equivalent is desirable coupled with experience of working within a Training Team environment.
Experience of working with multi-disciplined teams, ability to establish positive relationships with a number of different partners and customers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrable ability to create high-quality PowerPoint training material and support documentation in line with a specific style-guide.
A positive 'can do' attitude and pro-active behaviours with which to manage the review process of the training material.
Energy and enthusiasm to establish a good rapport with and deliver formal classroom training to small groups of end users.
An Engineering qualification or experience is desirable.
Join a great team!
The successful candidate will be joining an energetic and dynamic department operating within a fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving quality deliverables on time, on cost. The team has a reputation for developing and delivering high quality, innovative training products to our customers and this is reflected within the customer exam results and post course feedback.
