Role: As our

Instructor / Technician in Marine

you will undertake duties in the Marine departments. Based mainly within the Poole Campus with some travel to our Fulcrum Campus as required. You will deliver high quality and effective instructing to learners within the Marine department to Bournemouth and Poole College students. You will undertake Technician duties, generally in the Marine workshops, stores and in other areas as directed, to assist lecturers in the delivery and maintenance of training programmes. Responsibilities as our Instructor / Technician in Marine will include: Contributing to high quality learning experiences using a variety of methods. Ensuring that the instructing is based on current best available practice and is consistent with a high standard reflective of the work environment. Providing academic and pastoral support to students in accordance with agreed procedures. Undertaking such other reasonable duties as the line manager may require from time to time. Participating in the College's appraisal process and to undertake any training that may be appropriate. Taking appropriate responsibility to ensure the health and safety of self and others. ideally have: Level 1 (or equivalent GCSE) in English and Math's.
