The Role
Insurance is currently going through a huge disruption and transformation. There has been a huge change in the regulatory regime and there have been significant changes to the insurance accounting standards. At the same time, there is an increasing number of insure-tech start-ups that aim to gain a foothold in the market and incumbent insurers are reacting by increasing their focus on customer insights and automation.
As a member of our Insurance data practice, this role will play a critical part in helping our clients develop key data architectures which will link the end-to-end system architecture from policy and claim admin systems, to MI/BI reporting platforms through to the general ledger financial reporting. You will define the architecture for ETL stages within the data flows and system interfaces, processes to manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, data quality frameworks and maturity models to ensure accuracy of reports and best practices when designing and implementing reports or dashboards.
As a Senior Manager, we would expect the role to oversee the work of junior members of the team to ensure client deliverables are accurate and meet the needs of the client. In addition we would expect the successful candidate to manage client and stakeholder relationships, manage complex situations and be confident with challenge.
