Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in Intelligence within an insurance claims environment. We are seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our fast paced, innovative and growing Intel Team. As a Senior Intel Analyst you will not only work on a variety of claims ranging from motor fraud, credit hire, EL PL and more complex injury matters but you will also play a important part in shaping the future of our Intelligence Team through mentorship, supervision, building client relationships and more. Senior Intel Analysts not only undertake the investigations to help drive our claims towards an appropriate resolution but also focus on the development of our Team Members and the evolution of the services that our Intel Team offers both internally and externally. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Analysing suspected fraudulent claims using desktop systems and analytical techniques to research and locate relevant information that will validate or rule out concerns and / or detect potentially fraudulent information • Compiling reports/profiles on individuals and groups involved in suspected fraudulent activity. • Preparing witness evidence (including statements) in order to adduce the results of analysis in Court proceedings (generally civil proceedings) where necessary • Utilising IT software applications at an advanced level in order to produce proactive intelligence reports (e.g. iBase, i2 Analysts Notebook, Excel) • Delivering structured and detailed briefings to lawyers and clients on all key facts relating to specific investigations as required • Preparing reports detailing Intelligence led fraud risk assessments in relation to Insurance Fraud and linked & organised fraud investigations • Identification of strategic opportunities and, working with the file handling teams, building on the same both internally and externally • Liaising with key contacts at insurer clients to cover off trends, risks and strategic opportunities • Achieving a daily chargeable target • Supervision of junior members of the team in line with their competency development framework • Auditing members of the team and having input into the team’s technical development • Provision of training (internally or externally) as and when required • Time recording in accordance with Keoghs policy • Compliance with service level agreements as required on a client specific basis and in accordance with internal benchmarks RECRUITMENT CRITERIA • Experience within an Intelligence Analyst role and ability to demonstrate full competence within that role • Demonstrable experience in all main Motor Fraud work & fraud types as follows to include but not limited to: o Credit Hire Fraud o Linked & Organised Fraud o Fixed Fee work – both pre litigated and litigated o LSI/Staged/Induced/LNC/Exaggeration/Bogus Passenger • Experience in other specialist work such as: o Complex claims / high value claims o Casualty claims o Abuse claims o Commercial litigation o Healthcare claims OUR VALUES Our culture is focused on making Keoghs sustainable and successful for our people and clients, with this our four values are at the heart of everything we do; Our Values We are connected We are Dynamic We are Innovative We succeed together
