Agora Talent is delighted to be partnering with a highly-regarded fashion retailer on the search for an Interim Commercial Finance Manager. You’ll be working in a friendly and supportive finance team, and will be reporting directly into the Director of Commercial Finance.

The role…
- Analyse monthly cost reports for all head office departments and report findings to the senior team.
- Foster relationships with internal peers to understand and predict overhead costs.
- Conduct monthly budget review meetings with each department and establish action plans.
- Present financial information to store managers at area meetings.
- Assist the property team in preparing new store proposals, rent reviews, and other Capex expenditures.
- Develop new business plans and proposals, providing recommendations to the senior team.
- Provide insightful analysis to support and challenge commercial and operational decision-making.
- Create and implement the strategic business roadmap.
- Supervise and evaluate weekly trade analysis for all business channels focusing on sales, margins, and stock.
- Assist the core finance team by conducting monthly budget analyses across all P&L lines.
- Participate in monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews, taking responsibility for commercial finance and brand actions.
- Oversee and prepare the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and the five-year plan with support from the commercial finance analyst.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
About you…
- Qualified Accountant – CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CA or equivalent
- Experience operating in a multi-site environment
- Previous retail experience beneficial
- A proactive, driven, and organised individual with a forward-thinking mindset and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Highly motivated to challenge current processes and pursue improvements.
- A team player with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with and influencing senior management, business stakeholders, and other finance teams.
