Interim Finance Director Fractional Job In Birmingham

HW Interim Solutions are working with a financial services client to appoint an Interim Finance Director for a 6 month assignment.

As Finance Director, you will be responsible for reporting on finances to the Board, Leadership Team and Regulators, including producing reliable business and planning forecasts. This role includes overseeing the Statutory Accounts' annual process, including the interim and year-end audit, and supporting the Head of Finance in producing primary statements and notes to the accounts, ensuring Board deadlines are met. You will oversee the Management Accounts, including monthly reporting on the performance against budget/forecast, with accompanying commentary and variance analysis for the board pack and management committees. Additionally, you will also oversee all regulatory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports and returns, and support the governance of the regulatory framework.

You will be a seasoned finance professional who has worked at a similar level within financial services. This will be coupled with strong analytical skills, effective leadership, and excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

This role is offered on a fractional basis, 3 days per week.
