Interim Head of Group Management Accounting
Aston Murray is currently recruiting an Interim Head of Management Accounting for a large multisite business headquartered in Derby.

This Interim Head of Management Accounting role will report into the Finance Director and will be responsible for; managing a team of approx. 7 management accountants; management accounts production for multiple entities and consolidation; implementation of KPI reporting; cashflow management; improving internal controls and processes; monitor and analyse financial performance for the group and make recommendations for improvements; liaise with 3rd party advisors (banks, auditors, etc.); optimising the use of financial systems and BI tools; and managing stakeholder queries in a timely manner.
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified accountant with excellent leadership skills. You will have excellent communication skills combined with charisma and gravitas. The ability to motivate and enthuse people in solving complex issues will be essential. Finally you will have extensive experience of producing consolidated management accounts for a large corporate business.

This Interim Head of Management Accounting role is paying £80K - £90K pro rata and is for a period of 6 months. For the right candidate there is the possibility of the role becoming permanent. This role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Some travel to other sites around the UK will be required. The role is to start ASAP.
