Job Description
Hays Legal is exclusively instructed by this organisation seeking to appoint an interim Head of Legal. The opportunity would suit an experienced lawyer (minimum 10 years+) who has worked in-house previously and has a strong background in commercial contracts. Lawyers must already be based in the North East or within a commutable distance.
As interim Head of Legal you will manage a number of juniors in the legal team and will advise the business on a range of commercial matters, specifically contracts with customers and suppliers. You will also have oversight on regulatory, litigation and employment matters.
This opportunity is expected to be for a minimum of 3 months. Remuneration will be bespoke to the individual and day rate or FTC can be accommodated. Only those with UK experience will be considered.
