Job Description
High profile, well-known financial services institution is looking for a Legal/Senior Counsel to join their Wealth Management legal team on a 15 month maternity cover contract commencing by early July.
This business specialises in supporting HNW individuals and families with private wealth services and solutions and is highly regarded as an industry leader.
As part of a busy legal and compliance team responsibilities will include:
- drafting, reviewing and negotiating bespoke investment management agreements, custody and other relevant documentation
- reviewing and updating terms and conditions
- keeping up to date with legal and regulatory change
- instructing external counsel when required
- supporting on complex cross-border queries
- advising on issues relating to regulated funds including product governance and structuring
- reviewing and negotiating third party terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements, broker agreements and other similar documentation;
- negotiating a variety of commercial contracts including IT and technology contracts
- advising in data privacy and wider legal matters for the business
To be considered for this opportunity you will be 3+ years as a guide, however senior lawyers with relevant experience and salary expectations within range are also encouraged to apply. You will have strong technical skills gained in a regulated environment coupled with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
