We are delighted to be recruiting for Peabody, a well established housing organisation going through exciting change. They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Interim Strategic HR Business Partner to join them for a period of maternity leave ( 11 months fixed term contract).

As Interim Strategic HR Business Partner you will act as an integral part of the leadership team and a key partner to leaders across your designated business directorate in the implementation of the people strategy and local people plans required to support growth, performance and the delivery of strategic priorities. The strategic HR Business Partner will deliver high level strategic, and cultural people practices across the business and be a broker for services into the business from other parts of the HR team. This a newly created role offering a fantastic opportunity to shape, influence and drive change and help embed a new way of working at an exciting time of transformation and growth for the organisation.

Please note; this role offers hybrid and flexible working with regular weekly visibility required in the central London office.

To be considered you will require:

  • MCIPD qualification, degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive generalist experience in an HR Business Partnering role gained in a large, complex and customer-centric organisation
  • Demonstrable experience in leading, driving and delivering projects that translate People strategy into tangible deliverables
  • Proven experience of operating in a senior role with the confidence to engage and influence at senior level
  • Excellent technical and professional knowledge and be up to date with the latest employment trends and best practice
  • Strong analytical skills and be able to translate data and insights into evidence-based narrative to support business decisions
  • A personal mind-set of continuous improvement, self-motivation, and strategic and thinking
  • Motivation to work within a business that balances commerciality with a socially-focused purpose
  • The ability to apply critical, creative thinking and evidence to constructively challenge the status quo with credibility
