A newly created opportunity to join a leading FMCG business on an 18 month fixed term contract to come and manage some key supply chain projects for the business.
Initially, the focus of this will be to develop a strategy to create synergies between a number of sites around inbound supply chain. You will need to evaluate the current processes and formulate a strategy all around creating opportunities for improvement and better utilising the economies of scale that come from having a multi site operation.
This will include process redesign and standardisation, cost reduction, service level improvement, sharing of best practice, load and capacity management, the development of a clear inventory policy and optimisation of external storage facilities.
We are looking for someone who is very much a completer/finisher and can own this process from end to end. You will have ample support from within the group and across the various sites, but we are looking for someone who can own the end to end process - strategy, change, implementation and delivery.

We are looking for people who can demonstrate:
- Supply Chain/Logistics project optimisation experience, particularly process redesign
- Project Management experience
- Process/Value Stream mapping skills
- Ability to manage and influence people through change
- Experience of bulk and container logistics
- Supply Chain planning experience
- Strong Excel ability
