Reed Secure are working withlarge public sector organisationwho are looking to recruitInternal Communications and Campaigns Lead

  • 4-6 months duration.
  • Inside IR35.
  • Pay range £#removed# p/d. Umbrella
  • Desirable vetting clearance required:CTC.
  • Work pattern: 36 hours a week. You will be required to work some weekend shifts and out of hours with appropriate notice. You will be part of an internal communication on-call rota.
  • Location: New Scotland Yard, Westminster. You may be expected to work occasionally at other buildings across London as part of a blended working agreement. There are also some opportunities for remote working when appropriate.

Our client is looking for someone to deliverthrough internal campaigns and corporate communications that engage people so that they understand the direction of the organisations and the part they play in getting there, so that they feel they are being set up to succeed. The role will improve reach to staff to ensure they understand the direction of the organisation and the part they play in improving overall productivity, culture and performance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • You must have internal corporate communication or internal campaign experience within a large, complex organisation, where staff are often hard to each, with high profile examples to demonstrate your experience.
  • Strong track record of building strong relationships and influencing internal stakeholders to achieve successful business and communications outcomes.
  • Experience of managing complex and challenging communication topics with empathy. The ability to understand audience perspectives, horizon scan and prepare responses to areas of concern.
  • Understanding of internal channels, audiences, staff engagement theory. Strong communication plan development, briefing, writing, editing, presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Have strong communication project management skills with an ability to deliver at pace and to deadlines.
  • Understanding of and experience of managing internal issues that may spill into external channels and influencers.
  • The ability to translate business challenges into successful communication strategies and plans.
  • Experience of identifying and targeting audiences, including hard to reach internal groups.
  • Experience of using a variety of internal communication channels and ability to provide advice on most appropriate channels and content dependant on context and audience insight.
  • Ability to identify proactive communication opportunities, and commission appropriate content.
  • Ability to plan and sequence and understand and manage the cumulative impact of issues on audiences.
  • Experience of behaviour change campaigns, of story-telling and how to use insight to drive communication performance
