Job Description

Our client, a leading investment bank is seeking an Internal Communications Executive to support their London management team and the Internal Communications Manager with the planning and delivery of internal communications. This is a c ontract of 12 months, with potential for extension. The role involves maintaining and implementing a communications plan, daily colleague announcements, management communications and event management. The role also requires liaising with key stakeholders across the business to represent the communications department. You will liaise with Group Communications to ensure common and consistent language and messaging, as well as the communication of Bank-wide messages locally where appropriate. Other responsibilities include: Maintain and implement a communications plan. Researching content for articles, writing, and editing copy for the intranet, and managing email communications Managing internal communication-led events including Lunch & Learn programme Coordinating monthly Stories communication Regularly update London intranet presence and provide training to areas across the business Liaise with a variety of stakeholders from across the business and networks including the Diversity Council, the Green Team and other CSR groups to manage their communications Developing the use of video content for internal communications Working with the graphics agency, briefing in campaigns and online publications. On occasion help at other internal and external events About you: You will have had experience in a banking environment. You should have the confidence to push-back and suggest alternative approaches when required You should have a sound understanding of communication strategies and channels You should be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, and you will have have good attention to detail, with the confidence to suggest new ideas as appropriate.
