Job Description

Are you passionate about driving best practice Employee Communications and Engagement? Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) https://asc-aqua.org/ is driving the world’s leading certification programme for responsibly farmed seafood and we are looking for a passionate Employee Communications and Engagement Manager to join us in making a positive impact on our planet and people. This is a fully remote role for a fixed-term maternity cover contract, ideally starting November-December 2024 for a minimum of 6 months. This period may also be extended due to maternity cover needs. Circa 35,000 - 45,000 GBP per annum varying based on location, experience and skills. (pro-rata) Are you focused on continuously improving employee communication and engagement strategy, concepts and methods across a global organisation? Do you have experience developing and leading internal Brand, EVP (Employee Value Proposition) and company Values/Culture communications? Have you developed and promoted internal communication channels and employee engagement methods to best suit an organisations culture? i.e. Employee Surveys, KPIs, Policies, Training, Connection & Content. Can you pro-actively lead and track progress against a variety of employee communications mediums? Including managing weekly company calls and all-staff events? This employee communications and engagement expert will combine strategic thinking with a ‘hands-on’ approach to develop ASC’s internal brand and to enable consistent employee communications and engagement within ASC, in line with the organisation’s external positioning. You will need to be pro-active and solution oriented with a naturally engaging communication style. You should be very comfortable presenting and addressing large audiences and enjoy building connections at all levels of the organisation. This role is remote and will directly support our People and Organisational Development (POD) team to support our empowered collaborative culture, increase employee engagement and help us create a high performance workplace that represents our values of Caring, Open, Informed and Creative.
