Oakleaf is working with a leading financial service business who are looking for an experienced Internal communications specialist to join their team. The you will be joining a successful and stablished Internal comms team, but this Job allows you the opportunity to get involved in Change and transformation part of the business.

In this role you will support the delivery of the communications plans and content related to transformation initiatives. Working closely with HR, you will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers within the business including our senior leaders and wider communications colleagues including PR and Corporate Affairs.

The role is for 6 months , paying between £45-55,000 based on experience.

Internal Communications Specialist Job - What you we went from you:

  • Ideally you will have a solid level of experience in internal communications, planning, developing and delivering plans in support of employee engagement and transformation ad change programmes. But great writing skills, a desire to understand how our business is changing and a good grasp of what people will want to know and do, are great attributes too, as is relevant HR experience.
  • You will have very strong writing and editing skills, to deliver clear and concise messages to a variety of audiences. This will include understanding the complexity of a situation and developing clear and succinct key messages, scripts, talking points as well as more formal communications across our channels.
  • You will be highly organised, able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills is an important attribute for this role, including the ability to negotiate and influence others and recommending on best approach to ensure positive outcomes.
  • You will also be a driven, proactive, quick-learner and be delivery focused with the ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Most importantly, you will be passionate about the work you deliver and understand the impact on the audiences you are communicating to.
