Investment Management - Fixed Ie ESG Strategy - Analyst London We are looking for an ESG Strategy Analyst to join our dedicated Fixed Ie ESG Strategy & Research team within Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM"). The team provides sustainability expertise and knowledge to investment teams across Fixed Ie asset classes, and collaborates closely with Calvert, MSIM's specialised responsible investment business. The Analyst will work on a number of projects, to facilitate the analysis and integration of ESG (Environmental, Social andernance) considerations within portfolios, product development, and sustainability reporting, among other things. This position is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant and diverse team of sustainability specialists, supporting a platform of $180 billion in Fixed Ie investments ( note: as of December 31, 2023 ). As a Fixed Ie ESG Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for developing ESG analytical and reporting tools for Fixed Ie, being the main point person to interact with the MSIM ESG Data & Tech team. You will have a strong focus on Green Bond analytics and reporting, and on bespoke ESG content creation, with opportunities to learn in depth about the sustainable bond market and work hand in hand with some of our senior Fixed Ie ESG analysts, ESG data experts, and portfolio managers. You will also be responsible for supporting the Fixed Ie ESG Strategy & Research team in the development and implementation of research and data-driven sustainability frameworks for Fixed Ie portfolios, acting as liaison between ESG research and investment teams. What we're looking for: Prior experience working in a sustainability related role, preferably sustainable investing, sustainability consulting, or ESG research, developing and/or implementing frameworks related to climate, social inclusion, or other sustainability themes; Strong analytical skills, in particular managing ESG data; Ability tomunicate effectively, and summarise key concepts in presentations and papers intended for client use; Genuine passion for sustainability and the financial sector, and ability to work across multiple parallel projects. Skills that will help you in the role: Prior experience with data modelling, and familiarity with handling large datasets (preferably if ESG related); Understanding of carbon accounting and of key sustainability and impact reporting metrics measurement; Basic understanding of Fixed Ie investments and the Green Bond market; Experience working as part of a diverse team, with members located across different geographies. Where will you be working? This will be a London-based position. You will be expected to work across our MSIM offices in Canary Wharf and Bank.
