My client is a leading UK Asset and Wealth manager, with an investment process that is underpinned by sustainability. They are seeking an Investment Manager to join their International Private Clients team. As an Investment Manager you will support one or more Account Directors, assisting them in running their client relationships and actively contribute to investment decisions and annual reviews.


Role and Responsibilities


Portfolio management & administration

Assist in the management and administration of portfolios for a number of clients.

Monitor dashboards and ensure ongoing investment and administrative compliance across client base.

Review client portfolios to ensure that the tactical allocation reflects client objectives and house investment policy

Attend client meetings and support Account Director as required.

Prepare valuations, presentations and meeting packs for Private Client meetings.

Place/check deals in the firms’ funds, equities, bonds, 3rd party funds, FX.

Contribute to department’s investment process.

Implement departmental projects relevant to client base (e.g. pricing project, repapering, GDPR, MiFID II notifications)

Build new business

Promote the firm externally, largely through the development of relationships with professional intermediaries

Prepare proposed portfolios, RFPs and presentations for pitches to potential clients

Check client valuations and performance


Requirements

  • RDR Level 6 qualified.
  • Educated with strong interest in equity and bond markets, best of breed 3rd party managers and alternative strategies.
  • Experience in having run portfolios and investment management.#
  • Making new contacts and presenting to various audiences
  • Sound standard of IT skills and database management
  • Thorough general knowledge of the financial sector
  • Organised and professional at all times.
  • Able to work under pressure and to be innovative, entrepreneurial and energetic.
