Our client is a leading private equity firm, specialized in infrastructure and technology investments based in Paris. They support entrepreneurs and industrial players in their growth and digital strategies, accelerating the transformation of their middle market businesses into sizeable, often, international platforms. Their strategy is positioned in the value-add mid-market space.
The team has a top decile track record with over 35 investments in 13 European countries focusing in all infrastructure subsectors such as communications, transport and logistics, social infrastructure (healthcare/education/leisure), energy and utilities.
The role represents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team with a long history of executing successful investments in a variety of industries and geographies with deep financial and operational turnaround roots.
The Investment Manager will have the experience to be fully effective executing transactions with minimal supervision as well as supporting the team’s efforts in origination, and post-acquisition activities.
Candidate profile:
• 4-8 years of relevant experience, either from a top Private Equity firm or Bulge Bracket/Elite Boutique M&A team or an Infrastructure advisory practice of a top tier international bank
• Deep knowledge of and working experience in some of the infrastructure sectors of focus or having demonstrated whilst in a buy side environment the ability to adapt in new sectors
• Strong quantitative/numerical skills – confirmed financial and operational modelling skills
• Entrepreneurial character, self-starter approach and high commercial acumen
• Fluency in French helpful, but not required. Additional European languages are a plus
• Strong academic track record
