Job Description

We are currently working with a lower mid-market PE start-up, who are looking for a ambitious and entrepreneurial senior private equity professional to lead all deal activity, and fundraising. This position is ideal for someone for someone who wants not only wants to be a deal person, but also contribute to the strategic management of the business.

Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategies aligned with the company's goals and risk appetite. Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, conduct thorough due diligence, and assess their financial viability and strategic fit. Transaction Execution: Lead the end-to-end transaction process, including structuring deals, negotiating terms, and closing transactions in a timely and efficient manner. Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of existing investments, monitor key metrics, and implement value-creation initiatives to optimize returns. Fundraising: Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital from institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, and other sources of funding. Investor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and fostering trust and confidence in the company's investment activities. Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to inform investment decisions and fundraising efforts. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate investment risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred. Proven track record of successful private equity investments and fundraising within the start-up or growth-stage environment. Extensive knowledge of financial markets, investment principles, and valuation techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex investment opportunities and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, stakeholders, and internal teams. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
