A leading boutique investment and financial services firm are looking to expand their office with the recruitment of an additional Portfolio Manager to run private client discretionary portfolios within this flagship branch.
Role
You will be part of a well established and high performing investment management team and be responsible for further developing the client base via the acquisition of new private client business via your own connections and via introductions from the substantial financial planning team. You will provide an exemplary portfolio management service to a wide range of clients, including both portfolio management and client servicing, with a view to increasing the firms AUM and wider reputation as a wealth manager of choice.
Candidate
You will have a proven successful background as a private client discretionary investment and portfolio manager, a track record of developing quality business direct from the client, rather than focusing on developing external intermediaries. You
ABSOLUTELY MUST BE CISI/CFA LEVEL 6 QUALIFIED AS AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM
and it is imperative that you are a genuine team player.
Whilst there is access to an existing book to some degree, as well as a flow of referrals from the financial planning team, you will need an existing book of UK business, somewhere in the region of £30m ideally, for which an enhanced bonus is bonus is provided.
