IT Engineer - Ashby-de-la-Zouch - GBP 26,000 (5 days onsite)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive IT Engineer to join our innovative and dynamic team at a leading retail company around Ashby-de-la-Zouch. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal team. You will be working on a variety of IT projects, supporting our retail systems, and helping to drive the company forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1st and 2nd line support for all IT-related issues
Troubleshooting hardware and software problems
Installing and configuring computer hardware and software
Maintaining and monitoring computer networks and systems
Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of new IT infrastructure
Providing remote support to customers and ensuring that all queries are resolved in a timely manner
Proactively identifying opportunities to improve the IT environment and systems
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience in supporting and troubleshooting IT systems, both hardware and software
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and virtualization technologies
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers
A passion for technology and the drive to continuously learn and develop new skills
