About the role:
As an IT Field Engineer, no two days are the same!
You will play a key role in installing and maintaining a variety of hardware, from servers and desktops to wireless systems and network infrastructure.
You will regularly travel to customer sites across the South of the UK, delivering excellent customer service to end-users, and taking ownership of site builds or problems.
You will identify solutions to resolve installations and requests, keep customers informed about the progress of their planned solution, and collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex problems.
Requirements:
The perfect candidate will already have experience working as a Field Service Engineer, or at the very least, have experience in a similar IT Support Engineer role.
A full driving license is essential.
Preferably, you will have experience working within the Managed Services industry, however this is not a deal-breaker.
Technical requirements:
Knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
Experience in server and desktop builds with good working knowledge of ICT hardware, including server hardware, desktops, laptops, notebooks, Multi-Function Printers (MFP), and other peripheral devices.
Hands-on experience with software packages, operating systems, server applications (DHCP, DNS, AD, etc.), and group policy management.
Good understanding of structured cabling or Wi-Fi connectivity, including routers, switches, Wireless Access Points (WAP), and managed cabling.
Understanding of VOIP technologies.
Don't worry if you don't tick all the technical requirements as the company will review each application on a case by case basis and will provide relevant training courses to help you upskill.

Location: South of the UK
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible working can be discussed)
