Job Description

IT Project Engineer

(Sponsorship not available)

Let’s face it, you’re a bit of a geek.

You love technology and need to be able to get your hands on everything.

The only thing limiting you in your current role is you have your lane and “there is no scope at the moment” to give you the opportunity you want.

They’re more generalist when it comes to helping their clients which gives you the opportunity to take responsibility of the whole scope of work.

Where no two days are the same (cliché I know, but true).

Here are some of the things you could find yourself doing; cloud migrations, InTune/Autopilot configs, firewall upgrades/installations, MFA implementations + more.

You also get ‘surprise’ projects where they client doesn’t know the problem and you must go on site to scope and fix, so you could be walking into anything.

You’ll also have support from the office when needed, so you’re not a lone ranger.

They’re looking for someone as they have promoted internally.

Something they take seriously.

You’ll expand your skillset almost every day, and you can progress into a senior role, Solution Design Engineer, Consultant or Tech PM.

They work with you to get you there.

To be considered for the role you’ll need to have a full UK driving license and working with 2-3+ infrastructure set ups at once (whether that’s in an MSP or similar) working at a 2nd Line capacity.

You'll also seen to be within 1 hour commute (MAX) to Cardiff/Bridgend.

They can offer candidates £35,000 - £45,000.

The role will require you to work on site and (hybrid) from the office/home. Although this is flexible and once you have your feet on the ground and get to grips with how things are done the role becomes a bit more remote.

Reach out to me to schedule a call to get a full picture on what’s in it for you.

10-15 minutes on a call isn’t much of a loss for you if it doesn’t go anywhere.

All applicants will get a response.
