The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen to join Stephen Flack and his team as an IT Finance Business Partner to assist in the control all IT finances incurred by the Global IT cost centre budget holders. This includes responsibility for Annual Planning, Quarterly Forecasting and Monthly Reporting across Multiple portfolios. You will also provide business partnering support to the budget holders for both run and change services. This is a Global role working with senior stakeholders in the UK, North America, Australia and Hong Kong.

This role would be great for a qualified accountant that has previous experience providing support and budget analysis for cost centre owners. To be successful in this role you will need to enthusiastic and a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:

  • Owning the end-to-end month end processes, including accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions.

  • Business Partnering with the Budget holders to control the spend and complete the Budgeting and Forecasting.

  • Review and monitor cost centre expenditure to ensure IT costs are kept within budget limits and to highlight overspend trends.

  • Monitor ‘Risk and Opportunities’ as they arise and forward plan through day-to-day expense management practices.

  • Co-ordinate the intercompany process, ensuring effective communication of charges to receiving entities.

  • Managing queries in relation to Actuals, plan, and expense movements.

  • Help to deliver the strategic priorities of the company and function.

You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant.

  • Experience of providing support and analysis to budget holders.

  • Experience in partnering with suppliers, finance functions and business stakeholders.

  • Experience of financial reporting, planning, and forecasting.

  • Understanding of BAU budgets of an IT Function.

  • Understanding of Project Financial Management.
