Job Title: IT Helpdesk Manager
Location: Derby, Derbyshire
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

We are looking for a highly experienced IT Helpdesk Manager to join our client's expanding team in Derby, Derbyshire. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be managing a team of IT Support Engineers and ensuring the delivery of IT services, projects and rollouts.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in IT Management and have the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Manage a team of IT Helpdesk Engineers, providing technical support and guidance.
* Maintain and develop Helpdesk operations and procedures, including monitoring service levels and customer satisfaction.
* Develop and implement strategies to ensure that the IT Helpdesk is running at maximum efficiency.
* Monitor and review the performance of the Helpdesk team, identifying areas for improvement.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure that the IT Helpdesk is aligned with the business needs.
* Provide technical advice and support to the team to ensure that they are providing the highest level of service.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers and vendors.
* Act as a point of escalation and take the technical lead on new projects and rollouts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in IT Helpdesk Management
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
* Knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Networking, Cloud and Virtual Technologies
* Excellent technical knowledge of IT hardware and software
* Understanding of IT security and data protection regulations
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
