Job Title: IT Infrastructure Administrator
Location: South Leicester, Leicestershire
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 PLUS Company Bonus, Flexible Working Hours, Hybrid Working, 33 Days Holiday, Private Medical
I am working on behalf of a market-leading Manufacturing company based in South Leicester, Leicestershire, for an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to join their team. From hubmle beginnings, this business has grown from strength to strength over the past 100 years!
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the business in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the IT infrastructure systems. You will be required to ensure that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently and that system outages are kept to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
* Provide technical assistance and support to end-users.
* Maintain system documentation and update as necessary.
* Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
* Install antivirus and other security products.
* Maintain and configure virtual servers.
* Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Technical Skills Required:
* Extensive knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure systems and networks.
* Ability to configure and maintain hardware, software, and network components.
* Proficiency in Windows systems, Linux systems, and virtualization technologies.
* Knowledge of security principles and best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
