Senitor have partnered with a Lancashire-based company which is looking for an IT Manager to join their team. A successful organisation in the manufacturing sector, this company is part of a wider group of 4 which is seeing impressive growth year-on-year.
We see this as a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous IT management or supervisory experience to take ownership of the day-to-day running of IT operations and to really put their own stamp on the business. We're also looking for someone with solid hands-on experience in IT and a broad technical skillset.
This is an on-site position based in Blackpool with working hours Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.
Role Responsibilities include:
Oversee the day-to-day functions of the IT team.
Manage and maintain core network and system infrastructure.
Problem solve and troubleshoot all IT software and hardware issues across the business.
Ensure all IT activities are compliant with applicable policies and regulations.
Budget and asset management
Manage and ensure effectiveness/efficiency of security solutions.
Run regular checks and system audits.
Develop and mentor junior staff members.
Required Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in an IT Management or Supervisory role, preferably with experience in leading a team.
Solid technical skills across all Microsoft products, cloud-based systems, Networking, Virtualisation and hardware.
IT project management skills
Experience with databases, storage systems and phone systems.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
