My client is a leading organisation based in Leeds and are looking to recruit an IT Procurement Specialist to join the team.
You will embark on group wide initiatives, and be instrumental in leading the delivery of complex negotiations with suppliers for software and cloud services, identifying and selecting implementation partners to deliver new technology solutions.
The main purpose of this role is to work with software and professional service vendors to source high value, large scale complex technology contracts and ensure the best value moving forward.
Skills required:
Extensive experience of leading IT / Technology Procurement projects
Extensive experience of managing Tier 1 vendors
Experience of managing high value £10M - £100M cloud contracts
Prior experience of maximising value across contracts and customers
Proven track record of supplier management
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Outstanding relationship building skills
Excellence organisational skills
