If you are an IT Procurement Manager that has experience delivering complex IT sourcing projects across Software, Hardware or IT Professional Services, this is a fantastic time to join the organisation.</p><p><strong> Role </strong></p><p>As the IT Procurement Manager, you will have responsibility for the end-to-end ownership of commercial and sourcing strategy. You will lead business critical IT Purchasing & Procurement projects for IT Professional services, Software & Hardware. You will also lead Supplier Management activities and operate as an internal business partner to key Technology stakeholders.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Leading commercial and sourcing strategy for the IT & Tech Category</li><li>Creating clear and compelling category plans that provide a fit-for-purpose supply chain, balancing cost, quality, and risk considerations.</li><li>Lead cross-functional teams to implement business change</li><li>Lead negotiations with key suppliers and senior stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong> Experience </strong></p><ul><li>An experienced Procurement professional, or comparable relevant commercial experience, who has experience of creating and executing compelling end to end category plans</li><li>Effective and up to date understanding of the external supply markets, with knowledge and awareness of emerging trends, opportunities, and risks within your category field</li><li>Experience of negotiating with third parties, with an understanding of contract law</li><li>Experience of project management</li><li>Stakeholder management experience, demonstrating the ability to influence, constructively challenge and confidently engage up to and including Senior Manager level, explaining complex ideas in a simple way</li><li>Experience within IT & Technology procurement, specifically within either Software, Hardware or IT Professional Services</li><li>Ideally, you will demonstrate Procurement experience in a fast-paced, transformational environment</li><li>Experience leading cross functional teams</li><li>You will demonstrate a consultative approach to engaging, influencing and supporting Technology stakeholders through the end-to-end Procurement lifecycle</li><li>Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and ability to build long lasting relationships with key stakeholders</li><li>Commutable distance to Manchester</li></ul><p>If this opportunity is of interest to you, please apply directly or contact me at tom.atkin@1st-executive.com</p>
