IT Production Operative
Introduction to LOOP8
LOOP8 specialises in the refurbishment and resale of IT Hardware such as Laptops, Desktop PCs and Tablets. We work in partnership with trusted suppliers to ensure that only the best quality, low-cost stock is shipped to our customers.

Our commercial and retail clients engage with us through multiple on-line sales channels, including Amazon, Ebay, OnBuy and through our own website www.Loop8.co.uk. LOOP8 is one of only a handful of Amazon renewed partners in the UK. We are also an approved Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher.
Established in 2018 by 3 former colleagues with over 30 years' combined experience within the IT industry, we are a young, ambitious business that has doubled our revenue year on year. We don’t intend to stop there! With your help we will be looking to double our revenue again this financial year as we recently moved into a new, larger warehouse.

Your benefits package will include:
· £22-25k per annum
· 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays

· 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm.
What does a Loop8 IT Production Operative do?
The role is to work with the Refurbishment and Warehouse team, refurbishing PCs and laptops, desktops and monitors as well as installing new memory, SSD’s and other components. The role will involve all aspects of warehousing, logistics, packaging and system administration.
You will oversee and be accountable for the extensive quality checks of all incoming stock that is completed to the highest standards. As a Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher, we are approved to pre-install and sell Microsoft Windows Licenses, which means we adhere to all the necessary quality guidelines set by Microsoft.
Responsibilities
· PC Deployment\Installation; building laptop/desktop
· Working to set production orders
· Hardware Auditing & Quality control of stock
· Effective management of inventory, stock and returns using our inventory system
· Working to SMART working practices
· Assist with packing and logistics
· Support the warehouse with deliveries in and out.
· Support logistics operations
· General warehouse duties
· System administration and audit data analysis
· Graded stock and renewal service management
What We’re Looking For
If you have an appetite to learn and are tech savvy, then we can train you on all technical aspects of device refurbishment. We are looking for a candidate with some experience of working in an e-commerce or inventory management environment. You must be well organised and have a positive approach to your work.
Essential Skills
· PC literate, experience in Microsoft software
· Proficient in using a variety of hand tools
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work to deadlines
Ideal Skills
· Experience of inventory management systems
· Knowledge of E-commerce sites or processes
· Technical knowledge of IT (PC’s, Laptops and Tablets)
