Edmundson Electrical Ltd are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our quality driven application development team!

Our Systems & Procedures Department provides an important role in developing the Company’s business systems and continually reviewing and streamlining our business processes.

Job Description

 

  • IT Project Manager, responsible for the development of a series of bespoke business applications, to improve business processes and provide information to aid decision making.
  • A permanent position in our Systems & Procedures Department based full-time at our office in Knutsford, Cheshire.
  • This is a leadership role, with responsibility for mentoring, inspiring and guiding the effort of a dedicated team.

 

NOTE: The role will be supported by our internal experienced application testing team and technical experts.

 

Key Requirements

 

  • At least 10 years relevant experience in leading successful IT Projects.
  • Relevant project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, APM, PPM, PMI etc).
  • Experience working with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
  • Comfortable travelling when required to liaise with business system users, programming agencies etc.
  • Passionate about developing talent in your team.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities

 

  • Liasing with senior management to identify both tactical and strategic developments.
  • Clarifying requirements with business system users and other stakeholders.
  • Management of a series of application development projects throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Management and mentoring of an internal application development team.
  • Management of external programming agencies.
