Join our dynamic IT team, where you'll play a key role in supporting and managing IT requests across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include providing routine information on systems, managing IT hardware procurement, and ensuring seamless installations of hardware and software. You'll work closely with various departments to resolve IT issues, maintain accurate records, and ensure all processes meet company standards. By following company policies and security protocols, you'll help improve efficiency and enhance IT processes. Providing routine information on systems, products and services and promptly allocating unresolved calls as appropriate Manage and process IT requests from various departments within the organization, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment Maintaining up-to-date records and informing users about the process and relevant actions taken Responding to instructions or following agreed plans, installing or removing hardware and / or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools Taking defined action on simple problems, confirming correct functionality of hardware and software installations Undertaking routine collection of information and records as directed Manage the procurement and deployment of IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Ensure that all hardware meets company standards and is properly configured Reporting and escalating unforeseen or exceptional events Identifying, registering and categorising requests Adhering to IT and company policies, procedures, audit and legal requirements including business continuity and security Work closely with other IT team members and departments to address and resolve IT-related issues. Provide excellent customer service and support to internal clients Continuously evaluate and improve IT request and security processes. Implement best practices and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness Help support our Service Desk team with overflow phone support resolve incident tickets, providing support and solutions over the phone. Ensure issues are addressed promptly and effectively Continuously evaluate and improve IT request processes. Implement best practices and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness Creation of accounts within AD, adding relevant groups and access Involvement within the joiners, movers & leaver processes, making sure these are conducted successfully in line with security policies About you. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within IT service delivery or support environments. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with system software that manages activities such as input/output operations, dynamic resource allocation, and error reporting within a computer configuration. Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to identify, gather, and validate customer requirements, ensuring the effective delivery of IT services and providing outstanding customer service. Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply critical thinking to resolve technical issues efficiently. Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high level of organization. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members at all levels. Interpersonal Skills: Strong people skills with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Diligence and attention to detail in managing IT requests, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all processes. What you'll receive.
