IT SECURITY ARCHITECT - NORTH YORKSHIRE - HYBRID
Up to £67,000
1-2 days per month in office
A financial services organisation based in North Yorkshire are seeking an IT Security Architect who will be in office 1-2 days per month.
Responsibilities include:
Planning/designing/delivering the Project Portfolio
Providing governance/technical leadership to ensure projects are delivered in line with the company's principles/patterns/strategy
Developing/delivering technology roadmap
Gaining commitment for architecture initiatives
Working closely with Project Managers/Business Analysts to plan/test/govern project implementations
Being a key member of an Architecture team shaping the future of the company with large scale/complex projects across Data/Application/Technology/Security
The ideal candidate will:
Be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of security concepts and their technical application
Be able to accurately translate/effectively communicate security/risk implications to technical and non technical stakeholders
Understand the security implications of Business Change
Be able to proactively monitor emerging technology/threats
Be confident in designing/reviewing system architectures through the application of patterns/principles
Be confident enabling/informing risk-based decisions
Good technical knowledge/deep understanding of Microsoft Azure
