IT Security Risk Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Risk Analyst to strengthen our cybersecurity posture. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact our IT infrastructure and digital assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop risk management strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT security risk management strategies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks across IT systems and applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate the impact of identified risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor security metrics and trends to proactively address emerging risks.
- Stay current with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance to internal teams on IT security risks and risk management practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on risk findings, providing clear insights to stakeholders.
- Liaise with external vendors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with security frameworks and requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT security risk analysis or related fields.
- Applied knowledge of risk management frameworks such as ISO 27001 , NIST , or CIS Controls .
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP , CISM , or CRISC are highly preferred.
