Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Service Support Analyst to join our dynamic team at ARDEX. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to the business, resolving issues promptly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a problem solver, you will responsibly maintain the integrity and availability of IT systems, analysis of data, utilise and develop technologies to enable business operations to function efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the security and integrity of the IT systems is always maintained
  • Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve IT related incidents
  • Install, configure, and proactively maintain all IT hardware, software, systems, and peripherals
  • Provide an exceptional customer service - in person, via phone, email, and other forms of communication
  • Documentation of systems, network, user, and reference guides
  • User administration and maintenance
  • Maintain records of company IT assets and software licenses to ensure compliance
  • Creation of purchase requisitions for IT hardware & software and receipt of purchased goods
  • Managing backups and performing restore verification testing. Ensuring integrity of backup procedures
  • Continue to develop IT skills and maintain a technical awareness of changes in existing and future technologies
  • Undertake small to medium IT projects where required
  • To evaluate and provide technical input for upgrades to hardware/software and leading on their implementation
  • Assist/lead in the implementation and setup of new systems and extensions to the Company’s systems
  • To initiate and respond to support calls to external Systems Suppliers and Systems Maintainers
  • Assist with internal user relocation, onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Prepare and develop reports by collecting, analysing, summarising information
  • Assist as required, in producing training documentation or ‘on the job’ training where required
  • Actively work to drive improvements, cost efficiency and performance within the business.
  • Provide support cover outside of contracted hours
  • To develop and build good working relationships within the department and business.
  • Maintain quality standards as specified in the Company Quality Policy


Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in IT services or technical support role.
  • A strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and networking
  • Ability to self-learn, research, develop, and evaluate suitability of new technologies
  • Ability to stay composed and implementation of solutions whilst under pressure
  • Ability to Analyse, understand and author presentation of data
  • A full driving license. You may be required to travel to our other site on occasion
