Be part of the force's expanding Information Services team Nottinghamshire Police has recently invested in its Information Services team, its people and the structure. We provide technologies and IT services that directly impact operational policing. From the equipment that frontline officers require to be able to make decisions on the street, big data and analytics, 999/101 Control Room services, technologies that support digital investigations and everything in between! Information Services is at the heart of it all! We are motivated by exploiting the technology to support and improve the Policing service provided to the community of Nottinghamshire. Main purpose of the role: The IT SME is the primary liaison between the operational user community and the Force Information Services department. In this role, you will be the product owner responsible for continuous service improvement through our Microsoft Enterprise suite of capabilities to enhance productivity, security and compliance and to ensure that the Force maximises on its investment and the new capabilities that are available. You will be driving change and transformation that will affect ways of working from Frontline Policing all the way through to the adoption of features that underpin the management of the environment. Key Skills & Experience required: Technical knowledge of supporting and using Microsoft enterprise technologies including sharepoint, teams, forms, power apps and other applications available in the M365 catalogue. Experience of supporting and driving organisation change. Experience of promoting a positive and enabling culture that puts the customer at the heart of service delivery.
