With the autonomy and freedom to approach problems how you see fit, you’ll have ownership of your projects and a loud voice within the team when it comes to decision making. This isn't your run of the mill role where you will just be looking after existing systems. You will be building brand new solutions, where each customer and story will present a new challenge and set of design problems to solve.

What will you be doing?

  • Empower and enable colleagues across the business to take ownership of systems and data and gain value through improved use of IT. Encourages and coach them in adoption and use of existing and new technologies and systems, emphasising best practices.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to the team to assist with continuous improvement of the processes, techniques and standards in use in the department.
  • Selwood’s values – customer-focussed, one team, honest and dynamic – at all times.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong experience with T-SQL, data manipulation and ETL.
  • Experience implementing business change or transformation projects involving CRM & ERP systems and system integrations focussed on delivering business objectives through business change supported by technical solutions.
  • Experience in Dynamics 365, Dataverse/CDS, Power Platform (PowerApps/Power Automate/PowerBi) or other relevant technologies, plus formal Microsoft certifications to associate level.
  • Significant experience in a low code or traditional development role working with Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong, demonstrable problem-solving, analytical, lateral thinking, troubleshooting and investigation skills
  • Software development skills and ability to research and apply best practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, able to empathise and develop relationships.
  • Values and respects others and seeks to understand their perspectives and needs
  • Able to work autonomously; self-motivated, organised and able to take responsibility for planning own tasks and delivering outcomes.

Why join us?

Along with excellent learning and development resources, and a clear career path, you will also get:

  • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 2 paid gifted days; one for your birthday and one over Christmas
  • Buy / sell up to 1 weeks holiday
  • Life assurance
  • Flexible working opportunities – giving you flexibility on how long, where and when you work to support better customer service and promote a work/life balance.
  • Competitive enhanced pension scheme. You pay 4%, we pay 9% (with standard and opt out options too)
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Dress down Fridays (for office-based colleagues)

If you are looking to work in a close knit team where you can not only grow as a developer, but also have an impact on your local community, this could be the role for you.
