Job Summary:
We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in the Tyne and Wear region. The job role is working for a well-established leading name in the construction industry, providing an array of different services as the parent company of several of the industrys most trusted brands. A majorly successful organization with a revenue of £400 million and a workforce of over 3600 people. The role entails Supporting the IT Manager in the smooth running of the businesss IT systems, optimizing business efficiency.
Main Duties:
Provide first line support for the business and IT users on all general IT queries.
Administer business systems including setting up new users, password resets, system access rights, job scheduling and software and hardware upgrades.
Support business system resilience activities including IT security support and managing server availability.
Support an ERP system implementation and maintain the system following implementation.
Automate daily, weekly, and monthly business reporting.
Champion business self-sufficiency by sharing knowledge to harness the power of the systems and eliminate manual processing.
Person Specification:
Degree in an IT based subject or equivalent experience.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
Basic reporting through SQL queries.
Windows 10 & 11.
Office 365
Windows server 2012 & 2016
Active directory, Azure, DHCP & DNS administration.
Microsoft SQL Serve
