I have an amazing opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to join a growing, public sector company based in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to users in the organisation; resolving technical problems, providing support for the installation, maintenance and repair of the organisation's IT systems.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate with users of all levels.
Key responsibilities:
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
* Installing, maintaining, and repairing IT systems
* Analysing and diagnosing system faults
* Providing technical support and advice to users
* Monitoring and maintaining the operational health of IT systems
* Ensuring that all systems comply with current security policies
* Maintaining user accounts in the Active Directory
* Documenting IT incidents and solutions
Technical Skills Required:
* Proven experience in IT support
* Knowledge of networks, servers, and operating systems
* Understanding of Active Directory
* Knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
* Knowledge of security policies and procedures
* Ability to analyse and diagnose system faults
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
