Start your IT career with an long established electrical engineering company!The apprentice’s role is to provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and trouble-shoot routine and non-routine IT related problems. Duties include installation of software and hardware and supporting business critical systems, operating system and applications.Duties Answering the telephone, responding to emails and updating requestsProvide first line analysis of all IT issues and ensure that SLAs are metKeep customers informed of the status and progress of tasks and update ticketsComplete other service-related tasks as required by your managerAttend all learning events and complete all apprenticeship assignments to a good standard, and on-time About youTo be an IT Support Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.This 18-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £15, per year.
